Dartmouth Men's Tennis Tops Boston College, 6-1

HANOVER, N.H. -- Dartmouth senior co-captains Dave Webb (Toronto, Ont.) and Andres Reyes (Lexington, Mass.) won at No. 1 doubles and Webb was victorious at No. 1 singles, helping to lead the Big Green men's tennis team to a 6-1 victory over Boston College on Sunday afternoon at the Boss Tennis Center.

Webb and Reyes combined for a solid 8-4 victory in doubles and were followed by the duo of Steve McGaughey (Des Moines, Iowa) and Dave Waslen (Calgary, Alta.), who won 8-5 at No. 2 doubles, and Logan West (Washington, D.C.) and Priya Sahu (Athens, Ala.), who came away with an 8-2 win at No. 3 doubles.

In singles, Webb started strong and won his first set, 6-0. West was first off the court with an impressive 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 6 followed by Sahu with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at the No. 5 slot, giving Dartmouth a commanding 3-0 lead. Webb clinched the team match with his impressive 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 1.

With the win, the Big Green evened its record at 3-3. It will be in action again on February 26 when it hosts a doubleheader against Colgate and UMBC.
