Dartmouth Lightweight Rowers Second in Virginia
FAIRFAX, Va. -- The Dartmouth lightweight men's eight finished second to Navy at the Occoquan Challenge on October 1.
Competing under the name of Dartmouth Rowing Club, the Big Green was timed in 14:06.5460 to the Navy's 13:55.7070.
Another Naval Academy entry was third in 14:07.0580, and Dartmouth's other boats were sixth and 15th among the 18 teams competing.
The regatta was rowed on a three-mile course on the Occoquan Reservoir.
