AND NOW A WORD FROM OUR 2008 CAPTAIN:

"I think that when I look back on my Dartmouth experience ten or twenty years from now I probably won't remember the names of most of my courses , or the scores of the lacrosse games, or even whether we won or lost the big ones. What I will remember though, are all of the aspects of my Dartmouth experience that are etched in my memory because they are so special. How could I forget the feel of fresh Hanover air, or the giant mountains looming in the background as I walk to class. How amazing it feels when the weather warms up and we can hike up to the fire tower, climb Mt. Ascutney, fly fish or canoe on the Connecticut, or just toss around the football on the green.
These things are all part of the Dartmouth experience, but what makes it so unique are the people that I share all of these experiences with, my fellow teammates. Being on any team usually creates a natural bond among its members, but being part of the Dartmouth lacrosse team goes beyond the typical bonds to a different level because of the uniqueness of the Dartmouth experience. We all share the incredible opportunity for an unparalleled education with the privilege of playing for the Ivy League in a sport that we love; all of this in an idyllic setting; who could ask for more than this!"
