BOSTON, Mass. - Dartmouth junior Hari Iyer (Saratoga, Calif.) was named All-New England after his 17th place finish at the New England Collegiate Cross Country Championship on Saturday.
Iyer paced the Dartmouth men with a time of 25:41, running a 4.95 mile course at Franklin Park.
The Big Green rested its top runners for the October 13 NCAA pre-meet at Indiana State.
Next for Dartmouth was junior Andy Han (Madison, Wis.) who was 45th overall in 26:06. As a team, the Big Green was 18th among 43 schools.
Meanwhile the Dartmouth women were 25th of 44 schools, and also rested their top runners.
Two freshmen helped the Big Green on the 5k course. Rachel Gill (Pasadena, Calif.) was 55th overall in 19:28, and Lauren Rosenbaum (Colorado Springs, Colo.) was 108th, clocking 20:09.
