NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Dartmouth men's golf team took fourth place at Yale's MacDonald Cup as 25 schools competed at the Yale University Golf Course on Saturday and Sunday.
The Big Green combined for a 36-hole total of 602. Texas Christian University won with 573, five ahead of the host Bulldogs.
For Dartmouth, freshman
Davis Mullany (Great Barrington, Mass.) was the Big Green's top finisher for the third straight event. He fired 73-73-146, good for a tie for ninth, and four shots out of first place.
Junior
Rob Henley (Longmeadow, Mass.) was tied for 15th with 74-73-147. Sophomore
Dave Putney (Unionville, Conn.) was next with 77-74-151, tied for 33rd.
The Big Green's fall schedule continues October 13-14 at the ECAC Championship in Charlestown, R.I.
