Dartmouth's Bonacci Candidate for Lowe's Senior Class Award
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Dartmouth senior
Nick Bonacci (Crofton, Md.) was named one of 20 men's lacrosse players under consideration for the 2007 Lowe's Senior Class Award.
The leading scorer on this year's squad with 14 goals and 12 assists, Bonacci was voted first team All-Ivy and Academic All-Ivy last season. The Dartmouth team MVP in 2006, he also picked up first team All-New England recognition and USILA honorable mention All-America honors.
An economics major and a tri-captain of the 2007 squad, Bonacci carries a 3.88 GPA. In 2006, he was chosen a Dartmouth Class of 1948 Scholar-Athlete.
Off the field, Bonacci volunteers in a Special Olympics bowling program and he's a member of the Big Brother/Big Sister mentoring program.
Lowe's recently announced the addition of men's lacrosse, baseball, softball and men's hockey to the award program that was originally announced in 2001 with basketball.
