A pair of current Big Green players,
Raymond Allen (Longwood, FL) and
Robert Young (Cleburne, TX), are continuing their development this summer in two different leagues. Recently they were named to their league's All-Star games.
Allen, a middle infielder, is currently playing for the Altamonte Springs Snappers in the Florida Collegiate League. In the all-star showcase Allen had a pair of singles and scored a run, while driving in two in a 7-3 victory. During his sophomore campaign in Hanover, Allen hit two homeruns while his eighteen RBI's were third most on the team.

Coming off his freshman season at Dartmouth, Young was named to the Rogers Hornsby Team in the Texas Collegiate League. The 6'2” left-hander pitched a perfect seventh inning to help his team to a 3-0 victory striking out one while facing just three overall. He currently has a 1.33 ERA while pitching for the Wichita Falls Roughnecks, which ranks him in the Top-10 in the league.
