NEW HAVEN, Conn. ? The Dartmouth men's squash team had a tough day as the Big Green fell in both matches at Yale and Trinity on Saturday afternoon.

Against Yale in a 9-0 defeat, freshman Stephen Preefer (Brooklyn, N.Y.) had an impressive start, winning the first two sets, but dropped the next two and retired in the final match with the Bulldogs up 7-3 and was defeated 3-2.

Senior Adam King (Oromocto, N.B.) dropped a hard fought match with Francis Johnson as King forced a fourth set after taking the third, 9-6, and he also took two sets to extra frames, including the final set. In the No. 9 matchup, freshman Ted Schroeder (Wynnewood, Pa.) fell 3-1, but earned a 9-4 win in the second set after dropping the first set 9-0 and he did not go out easy as the final set went to Yale, 10-8.

At top-ranked Trinity, the Big Green fell 9-0.
