LOS ANGELES, Calif. ? The Dartmouth men's tennis team pulled off a close 4-3 win over Loyola Marymount yesterday, March 19, at the LMU Tennis Center.
The doubles team of
Mark Brodie (Greensboro, N.C.) and
Jeffrey Schechtman (Highland Park, Ill.) started out with an 8-6 win, and
David Fink (Roslyn Heights, N.Y.) and
Curtis Roby (New York City, N.Y.) won their doubles match 8-1 to clinch the team point for the Big Green.
Brodie again took down his opponent in straight sets to kick off the singles matches, and Roby brought in a point with a victory at No. 5. Taking the fourth point for Dartmouth at No. 6, Schechtman won in his third set to confirm the win for the Big Green.
The Big Green will next take on Cal Poly on Saturday, March 22, at 1:00 pm.
