ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. ? The Dartmouth men's golf team finished in the seventh spot today at the Ivy League Championships after the final round from Galloway National Golf Club.
Columbia earned the title with a 303-293-304-900, while Dartmouth concluded the championships scoring a 316-310-313-939.
Senior Jamie Wallace (Moorestown, N.J.) concluded his Ivy League career with a 15th place finish in the individual competition after an 80-73-79-232, to become Dartmouth's low scorer for the championship. Freshman Davis Mullany (Great Barrington, Mass.) rebounded after round one to shoot a 77 to finish his first championship with a 78-80-77-235.
Dartmouth had three other competitors, including junior Rob Henley (Longmeadow, Mass.) who fired a 76-82-78-236, while sophomore Dan Egan (Rye, N.Y.) shot an 83-80-79-242 over the two days. Rounding out Dartmouth's squad was sophomore Dave Putney (Unionville, Conn.). He finished by scoring an 82-77-83-242.
The Big Green is not done with its season yet as Dartmouth travels to Rhode Island for the Rhode Island Invitational on April 25.
