Dartmouth's Gaudet Named Turfer Athletic New England Division I Player of the Week

HANOVER, N.H. ? Dartmouth senior Chad Gaudet (Burlington, Mass.) was named the Turfer Athletic New England Division I Player of the Week, April 21.
Gaudet took home the award after winning 20-of-34 face-offs, picking up 10 ground balls and scoring a goal to help lead the Big Green to a 17-14 Ivy League win over Yale University. Gaudet scored late in the third quarter, unassisted, his second goal of the season. Gaudet came back and went 11-for-21 with six grounders as Dartmouth came up short, 11-7, in an upset bid of #4 Virginia. At the time, Gaudet was 119-of-214 (.556) on the face-off 'x' with a team-best 71 ground balls.
The Big Green wraps up the 2008 season with a game at Ivy rival Harvard, May 3.
Gaudet is the son of Jody and Chuck Gaudet and a graduate of Middlesex High School.
