HANOVER, N.H ? The Dartmouth field hockey team scored less than a minute into the game, but Holy Cross netted the lone goal in the second half to defeat the Big Green, 3-2, in non-conference action on Sunday afternoon.
Nine minutes after the Big Green took the early lead, Holy Cross answered right back to tie the score at 1-1. The goal came on a penalty corner when Alanna Sikorski took a shot from the right side, which was then tipped in at the far post by Kristen Schulz for her team-leading fourth goal of the season.

In the second half, Holy Cross took charge of a player advantage and took the 3-2 lead on a penalty corner as the advantage was ticking down. Courtney Callahan gave the Crusaders their second lead of the game as she was at the far post during the corner and tipped home a shot from Sikorski with six minutes to play.
The Big Green will be back in action on Saturday as Dartmouth hosts Penn for its second Ivy League contest, beginning at 12 p.m. at Chase Field
