Men's Cross Country Takes 16th at Pre-Nationals

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Senior Chris Zablocki (Essex, Conn.) paced the Dartmouth men's cross country team to a 16th-place finish in the white section at NCAA Pre-Nationals on the campus of Indiana State on Saturday.

Zablocki took 43rd overall in the individual competition with a run of 24:26.7, while junior Tom Robbins (Evanston, Ill.) was the Big Green's next top finisher in 69th with a time of 24:46.9. Other harriers included sophomore Ethan Shaw (Falmouth, Maine) and senior captain John Schroeder (Nashua, N.H.). Schroeder crossed the line in 120th with a time of 25:19.1, while Shaw finished right on the tail of Schroeder in 129th at 25:26.1.

The Big Green finished 16th of 35 teams with 506 points.

Dartmouth will back in action this coming weekend at the Mayor's Cup in Boston with both men's and women's competing on Saturday.
