HANOVER, N.H. ? The Ivy League has set the schedule for the Ivy League Baseball Championship series to be played this weekend at Dartmouth's Red Rolfe Field at Biondi Park. The Big Green will play the winner of the today's Princeton-Cornell playoff game, beginning Saturday in a doubleheader consisting of two nine-inning games at noon, with a third and deciding game on Sunday at 1 p.m., if necessary.
Admission will be charged both days at a price of $5 for adults and $3 for youths 14 and under. Ivy League students will be admitted free with a valid student ID. All tickets are general admission and will be available for purchase at Red Rolfe Field at Biondi Park one hour before the first game each day.
Dartmouth earned the right to host the event by posting the best record in the Ivy League at 16-4. Princeton and Cornell finished the regular season tied for the Gehrig Division lead at 10-10, forcing the one-game playoff today. Earlier this season, the Big Green swept doubleheaders from both Princeton and Cornell in Hanover.
