HANOVER, N.H. —The Dartmouth men's lacrosse team will once again be competing in the New England Lacrosse Classic at Gillette Stadium this upcoming spring. The Big Green will compete against Princeton in the Classic on April 16, 2011.
“Playing in the 2010 Classic was a tremendous experience for the Dartmouth team,” said Andrew Towers, head coach at Dartmouth College. “We are very excited to once again play at one of the finest facilities in the country in front of the New England lacrosse community and our faithful Dartmouth College family.”
Last season, the Big Green upset sixth-ranked Cornell, 8-6, at Gillette Stadium. Goalkeeper Fergus Campbell (New Canaan, Conn.) posted a career-high 23 stops, while Ari Sussman '10 (New Haven, Conn.) netted four goals in the victory.
