Dartmouth Women's Squash Wins A Game But Falls to Princeton

HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth women's squash team was able to take a game from the visiting Princeton Tigers on Saturday but the visitors took the match, 8-1 at the Berry Sports Center.

Princeton improved to 7-2 overall, 4-1 in the Ivy League while Dartmouth fell to 3-6, 0-4 Ivy.

The Big Green's Valeria Wiens at No. 1 was the only Dartmouth player to best the Tigers as she dropped the first and third games but rallier to win 3-2. Five Princeton players however won 3-0 matches over the Big Green. At No. 5, Libbey Brown gave Nikki Sequeira all she could handle as the Dartmouth senior won games three and four but fell in the fifth, 11-7.

Dartmouth will be back in action next weekend with its last regular-season match of the year. The Big Green will travel to Brown in an Ivy League match beginning at 1:00 pm.
