Dartmouth Women's Squash Drops Close Match to Stanford

HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth women's squash team is still looking for an Ivy League victory after being swept by Penn, 9-0, Sunday afternoon in the Berry Sports Center. The Quakers improved to 11-2 overall and 5-1 in the league, while the Big Green fell to 3-8 on the season and 0-5 in Ivy play.

In the No. 1 position, Kristen Lange won a competitive battle with Valeria Wiens (Hanover, N.H.), 3-1. Wiens took a 12-10 win in the first game, but lost the next three, 11-8, 13-11, 11-6.

At No. 5, Libbey Brown was able to take a win from Britt Hebden but lost the final two games 11-5 and 11-9 after a 1-1 tie.

The Big Green will be back in action Feb. 13, traveling to Brown for a 1:00 pm match.
