SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The 38th-ranked Dartmouth women's tennis team made quick work of Utah State with a 7-0 win to get off to a good start on the Big Green's west coast trip yesterday.
Each competitor for Dartmouth won their singles events with only one going all three sets. Junior
Molly Scott (Trabuco Canyon, Calif.) only dropped one game in her two-set win, while classmate
Georgiana Smyser (Houston, Texas) took down her opponent in straight sets at 6-1, 6-2.

Mary Beth Winingham (Carmel, Ind.) teamed up to take the No. 1 doubles match by the score of 8-6. Freshman
Sarah Leonard (Norwalk, Conn.) and sophomore
Carissa King (Charlotte, N.C.) won at No. 2 doubles and handily with an 8-2 victory.
Winingham and Scott went undefeated on the day with wins in singles and doubles. Freshman

Jeri Reichel (Hilton Head Island, S.C.) all saw action in exhibition matches and each came out with wins. Danosi and Reichel failed to drop a game, while Zak only lost one.
Dartmouth will be back on the court today against Cal Poly, who is hosting the tournament.
