Wren Named a Primetime Performer by College Baseball Site

HANOVER, N.H. — Jim Wren was one of many heroes on the Dartmouth baseball team at the Ivy Championship Series this past weekend, and collegebaseball360.com selected him as one of their Primetime Performers for the past week. Wren was also interviewed by the site in a podcast on his thoughts about winning the Ivy title, Dartmouth baseball and other topics.
The senior from Granbury, Texas, went 4-for-12 (.333) in the three games, but none of his hits was bigger than his grand slam in the eighth inning of game two to give Dartmouth a five-run cushion in a wild 15-10 victory. Wren led the Big Green with seven RBIs over the three games, driving in two more in the clinching game on Sunday.
Dartmouth (25-16) is trying to schedule a few more games before heading off to an NCAA Regional with 19 days until the regional pairings are announced on Monday, May 31 live on ESPN at 12:30 p.m. The regionals begin play on Friday, June 4.
