Once again the women held court on the alpine slopes, with senior Courtney Hammond (Mercer Island, Wash.) and sophomore Annie Rendall (S. On the men's side, Trevor Leafe (Monroe, N.H.) was Dartmouth's top finisher in the giant slalom, taking ninth in a time of 2:01.40. Freshman Mathieu Bertrand (Montreal, Quebec) crossed in 2:02.36 for 16th place.
It was another Green day for the nordic men as Dartmouth took first and third in the three-by-three freestyle sprint relay. The team of Sam Tarling (Cumberland, Maine), Nils Koons (Sidney, Maine) and Eric Packer (Anchorage, Alaska) won the freestyle relay with a time of 25:05.3, a full 47.1 seconds ahead of the next team. Dartmouth's team of Scott Lacy (Aspen, Colo.), Gordon Vermeer (Minneapolis, Minn.) and Erik Fagerstrom (Eden Prarie, Minn.) crossed in third place in a time of 27:12.7.
The women also picked up valuable points on the cross-country course on Saturday when the team of Rosie Brennan (Park City, Utah), Erika Flowers (Bozeman, Mont.) and Stephanie Crocker (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) took second place in the three-by-three relay in 32:10.5.
Dartmouth heads to Maine next weekend to face in the Bates Carnival, also the EISA Championships, on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 26-27.
