Campbell Named NEILA Player of the Week

HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth men's lacrosse goalkeeper Fergus Campbell (New Canaan, Conn.) was named the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association/Skor Sports Player of the Week for the week ending March 6.
Campbell, a junior, guided the Big Green to a pair of victories this weekend, over Sacred Heart and Mercer. He was spectacular in a 9-7 win at Sacred Heart, making 17 saves, including several from point blank range in the fourth quarter. On a neutral field against Mercer, he provided eight stops to improve Dartmouth to 2-1.
The Big Green also moved into the NEILA coaches poll for the first time all season, landing in the eighth spot. Dartmouth plays at Holy Cross on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
