The game started the right way for Dartmouth with sophomore Nikki Dysenchuk (Darien, Conn.) giving the team a 1-0 lead 3:32 into the first quarter. Cornell responded by scoring two goals in the quarter to take a 2-1 lead into the second. In the second period, the two teams scored 11 goals. In the second half, it was more of the same with Cornell outscoring Dartmouth in the final two periods, 8-5. Dysenchuk led the Big Green with three goals to push his season total to 11. Two other Dartmouth players had multiple points. Junior Kip Dooley (Minneapolis, Minn.) had a goal and two assists, and senior Rhett Miller (Dallas, Texas) tallied two goals.
