HANOVER, N.H. — On Thursday, the Ivy League announced its end of the year awards for men's tennis. The Dartmouth duo of junior
Michael Laser (Glencoe, Ill.) and sophomore
Xander Centenari (Towson, Md.) earned first-team honors in doubles. Centenari also garnered second team All-Ivy honors in singles.
The combo went 6-1 in doubles during the Ivy season to help the Big Green finish with a 4-3 record in the conference and tied for third place. Centenari went 4-3 in singles, splitting time between the top spot and second singles. Dartmouth finished the season with an overall record of 13-7.
Last season, Laser earned second team All-Ivy honors in doubles with teammate
Dan Freeman '09. These are the first Ivy awards for Centenari.
Matija Pecotic of Princeton earned the Player of the Year award, and Brandon Burke of Brown achieved the Rookie of the Year honor.
