HANOVER, N.H. —The Big Green lost its fourth game in the Ivy League last Saturday at Penn, 9-4. Dartmouth scored the first goal of the contest, but the Quakers rolled off seven straight goals, spanning two quarters, to take control of the game.
SCOUTING THE BIG GREEN
Dartmouth enters the last game of the regular season on Saturday with a 5-8 record overall and a 1-4 mark in the Ivy League. The Big Green ends the regular season at home where they are 2-1 this year, and have won their last two games at Scully-Fahey Field.
The Big Green are currently in a tie for sixth-place with Brown, but still have a chance to reach the Ivy League Tournament. The full scenario is listed below.
Dartmouth has seven players who have recorded double-digit points through 13 games. Junior co-captain Kip Dooley (Minneapolis, Minn.) leads the team with 31 points on 13 goals and a team-high 18 assists. Junior Drew Tunney (Greenwich, Conn.) is second on the squad with 14 goals and 10 assists for 24 points. Two players are tied for third with 22 points. Senior Captain Rhett Miller (Dallas, Texas) has 18 goals and four assists, and sophomore Nikki Dysenchuk (Darien, Conn.) has 15 goals and seven assists. Freshman Jeff Perkins (Dallas, Texas) has 16 points on 13 goals and three assists, and sophomore Chris Costabile (Sykesville, Md.) has 14 points on 12 goals and two assists. Junior John DeChiaro (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.) rounds out the double-digit scorers with 12 points on five goals and seven assists.
Junior Fergus Campbell (New Canaan, Conn.) has started all 13 games at goalkeeper, has a 10.80 goals against average, a 5-8 record and a .529 save percentage. In 733:28 minutes, he has made 148 saves, including a game high 17 three different times.
The team is averaging 9.15 goals per game, while allowing 10.85 goals against. The Big Green take 35.3 shots per game and grab 28.54 ground balls per game. The team is 14-for-46 in man-up situations for a conversion rate of 30.4 percent.
IVY SCENARIO
The Big Green enter the weekend with an outside shot of making the Ivy League Tournament, which will be played at host Cornell. The first thing that has to happen is Dartmouth has to beat Brown on Saturday. The Big Green then need Princeton to lose at Cornell and Harvard to lose at home to Yale.
If those three things happen, Princeton, Harvard and Dartmouth would finish with identical 2-4 records in league play. The three teams would all have 1-1 records against each other and identical 0-3 records versus Cornell, Penn and Yale. This means the conference would have to go to its final tiebreaking procedure, in which the final team to make the field would be determined by a random draw conducted by Ivy League Executive Director Robin Harris. If the draw is needed, it will take place on Saturday at 5 p.m. It can be watched live at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/ivy-league-athletics.
SENIOR DAY
Saturday will mark Senior Day for five Big Green athletes. Besides Miller, it will be the final home game for captain Josh Etzion (Boca Raton, Fla.), Mikey Whitcomb (Lyme, N.H.), Jack Steele (Longmeadow, Mass.) and captain Adam Boardman (Brattleboro, Vt.).
Miller comes into the game with 49 games played, 41 goals, 10 assists and 51 points. Etzion has played 34 games, scored 24 goals, recorded 15 assists and tallied 39 points. Whitcomb has played 25 games and grabbed five groundballs. Boardman has played 37 games, grabbed 18 groundballs, and caused 12 turnovers. Steele has played 39 games, scored seven goals, tallied four assists and recorded 11 points.
EVERY-GAME SCORER
Dooley continued his streak of scoring in all 13 games the Big Green has played this season. He now has 31 points on 13 goals and 18 assists. His season high was five points at Holy Cross on two goals and three assists.
Miller has the second longest scoring streak at two games. In those games, he has three points on three goals.
SCOUTING THE BEARS
Brown enters the weekend with a 5-8 record overall and a 1-4 mark in the Ivy League. The Bears are 1-6 on the road this season with their only win coming at Providence on April 19. Brown has gone 2-5 in its last seven games, including an 18-5 loss at home to Cornell last week.
Parker Brown leads the team with 34 points on 18 goals and 16 assists. Andrew Feinberg is second with 23 goals and nine assists for 32 points. David Hawley is third with 20 points on 18 goals and two assists.

SERIES HISTORY
The two teams will meet for the 56th time on Saturday with Brown leading the all-time series, 35-20. The first meeting between the two schools took place on May 14, 1926 at Brown, with the Bears winning, 4-3. Brown has won the last three contests with the last Dartmouth win coming in 2007. That game was also the last time the Big Green defeated the Bears at home.
