Seventh-Ranked Men's Squash Falls to No. 2 Princeton, 8-1

PRINCETON, N.J. — The seventh-ranked Dartmouth men's squash team lost in the opening round of the Potter Cup (A Division) to second-ranked Princeton, 8-1, on Friday. The contest was played at the Tigers' home courts, and the familiar suroundings helped Princeton (13-1) earn the victory.

Dartmouth (9-7) got its only victory in the No. 2 spot with senior Nick Sisodia (Chicago, Ill.) defeating Christopher Callis, 7-11, 11-7, 11-8, 17-15. The only other Big Green player to push his match to four games was senior Stephen Wetherill (Ambler, Pa.) at sixth singles. He lost to Clay Blackiston, 11-6, 11-5, 8-11, 11-8.

The loss marked the seventh loss of the season to a team ranked in the top six. The Big Green will play third-ranked Yale on Saturday at 3 p.m. Sixth-ranked Cornell upset the Bulldogs on Friday, 6-3. Dartmouth played Yale last Friday at home and lost, 6-3.
