vs Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational

HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth cross country teams will be back in action this Saturday, running in the 101st Annual New England Championships at Franklin Park.
The women's 5K varsity race is set to get started at 12:30 p.m., and follows the men's 8K varsity race that begins at 11:45 a.m.
The Big Green last ran two weeks ago at Boston College's Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown on this same Franklin Park course. On that warm Friday afternoon, both the men and women claimed fifth, respectively.
At this meet a year ago, the Dartmouth women were 14th overall with 381 points, a figure and finish it expects to improve on this Saturday. The men were third as a team last fall, accumulating 89 points in the process. Two seasons ago — during the event's 100-year anniversary — the Big Green men won the team championship and are seeking a similar fate when they step up to the starting line this weekend.
The men will send Tony Anzivino, Joey Chapin, Pat Gregory, Julian Heninger, Matt Herzig, Dylan O'Sullivan and Daniel Salas to Boston as race participants. The women's varsity seven will be comprised of Helen Schlachtenhaufen, Claudia Pham, Meggie Donovan, Erin McConnell, Bridget O'Neill, Bridget Flynn, Meghan Grela, Kennedy Jensen and Ashley Ulrich.
Dartmouth's cross country teams will be back in action next week with several members going to Wisconsin for a national meet, while others will head to Rhode Island for Brown's annual Rothenburg Invitational. Both are on Friday, Oct. 17.
