HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth men's lacrosse coach Brendan Callahan has announced his team's 14-game slate for the upcoming 2015 season.
Callahan became the Big Green's 10th head coach in the program's 89-year history when he arrived in Hanover in August. Tucker Kear and Kevin Gould, who are also entering their first season with the team, join him on the sideline as assistants.
Composed of 25 returnees, 13 freshmen and three new coaches, the Green and White will open competition on Valentine's Day in Connecticut when they face Quinnipiac in a scrimmage. Dartmouth will be on the road for the next two weekends, taking on Ohio State on Saturday, Feb. 21 and Notre Dame a week later on Feb. 28.
In a season that is just over two months long, Dartmouth will play six games on Scully-Fahey Field: Sacred Heart (March 4), Harvard (March 21), Vermont (March 24), Princeton (April 11), UMass Lowell (April 21) and Brown (April 25). The game with the Bears will be the final contest of the regular season.
After returning from Notre Dame and hosting Sacred Heart, the Green will travel to four different states throughout the remainder of the season, playing Wagner (March 7), Cornell (March 28), Yale (April 4), NJIT (April 14) and Penn (April 18).
The Big Green 2015 campaign will conclude at the Ivy League Tournament, which will take place from Friday through Sunday, May 1-3, determined by conference standings.
