FRIDAY'S GAME
The Dartmouth women's lacrosse team will wrap up the 2014 season Friday night under the lights of Harvard Stadium in Cambridge at 7 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
The Big Green fell, 12-10, at Princeton last Saturday as the Tigers clinched at least a share of the 2014 Ivy League title with the win. With the home team leading throughout, the Green and White never gave in to the mounting deficits in the contest, putting together several comeback bids that cut into Princeton's advantages. Sarah Byrne led the way with a hat trick, while Liz Calby netted a pair in the loss.
SCOUTING HARVARD
Harvard enters the game with a spot in the Ivy League Tournament already secured with a 4-2 conference record. The Crimson can either finish third or fourth in the standings depending on the outcome of this weekend's game, but can not move any higher or lower than those two spots. Marissa Romeo has proven to be one of the top goal scorers this season with 44 markers and an Ivy League leading 3.14 goals-per game. Her 50 points are the fourth-most by any Ancient Eight player this spring as well. Kelly Weis has played every minute in goal this year for the Crimson, posting a 9.39 goals against average and a .469 save percentage to go along with her 9-5 win-loss record.
ALL-TIME AGAINST THE CRIMSON
Friday marks the 40th all-time meeting between the two programs. In the previous 39 contests, Harvard and Dartmouth have split the series right down the middle with each winning 19 in addition to a 6-6 tie in 1977.
MISSING OUT
With three straight defeats to Ivy opponents, the Big Green will miss out on qualifying for the Ivy League Tournament for the first time in its four-year existence. The Green had not only appeared in each of the previous three postseasons, but had also moved on to the championship game in each instance, winning the 2012 title in Philadelphia.
FIRST AND SECOND
Against Princeton, freshman Taryn Deck found herself on the scoresheet for the first time as a member of the Big Green. Deck netted her first career goal with 5:09 remaining in regulation as part of the team's 5-1 run to end the game. Sophomore Hannah Saris notched the second of her career and of the season 4:17 into the final stanza as well.
CLASS OF 2014
The game at Harvard will likely mark the final time wearing the Dartmouth jersey for six members of the Class of 2014. Lindsey Allard, Liz Calby, Anjalie Christie, goalkeeper Kristen Giovanniello, Bailey Johnson and Kara Lehman all have been a part of one of the most successful stretches in program history. In their time in Hanover, they have won the 2011 Ivy League Championship, the 2012 Ivy Tournament title and have qualified for the NCAA Tournament three times. Also a member of that group is student manager/volunteer assistant Kyleigh Williams.

AROUND THE LEAGUE
Princeton locked up the top spot and the right to host the 2014 Ivy League Tournament next weekend at Sherrerd Field at Class of 1952 Stadium. Penn, Harvard and Cornell will also be playing for a chance at the league's postseason crown as they all have earned berths in the field. With Dartmouth not making the bracket this season, the Quakers are now the only team to appear in the field of four each year of tournament play (dating back to 2011).
