PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – After going undefeated in her first three matches of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American Championships, Dartmouth women's tennis sophomore Taylor Ng returned to the court in sunny California on Tuesday. She ended the day with a record of 1-1.
In her first match of the day, Ng fell to Stanford's Carolyn Doyle by a score of 6-2, 6-1. Later on in the afternoon, Ng won a back-and-forth battle against Ana Vladutu of DePaul, 6-3, 6-1.
“Taylor showed a ton of heart today,” said head coach Bob Dallis. “After losing the first close match, she was able to put that behind her by winning the first point of the second match. She really represented herself and Dartmouth with a lot of class. She has had a great tournament so far.”
Ng will play just one more match tomorrow morning before wrapping up her All-American journey and returning to Hanover.
