Dartmouth Women Take Ninth at New Englands

BOSTON – The Dartmouth women's cross country team ran to a ninth-place finish Saturday afternoon at the New England Championships at Franklin Park.
The Big Green posted 285 points en route to the top-10 finish on the 5K course, led by the 35th-place finish of sophomore Bridget O'Neill in 18:25.
Bridget Flynn followed soon thereafter in 44th with an 18:33 to her credit, while Abby Livingston was 49th in 18:38.
Rounding out the scoring for Dartmouth were Marisa Magsarili (75th, 18:52) and Abby Markowitz (82nd, 18:58). Freshman Grace Thompson was the sixth Big Green runner to cross the finish line, doing so in 118th with a time of 19:18.
Dartmouth will split up next Friday, Oct. 16 with a select group headed to Madison for the adidas Wisconsin Invitational and another group going to Brown for the Rothenberg Invitational.
