Dartmouth Rides in a Pair of Weekend Shows at UNH and Endicott

HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth equestrian team competed in two different shows this weekend, finishing eighth of 11 teams on Saturday at New Hampshire and third of 10 at Endicott on Sunday.
At UNH, there were individual successes sprinkled throughout the day. Senior Lindsay Seewald came second in Open Fences and first in Open Flat, which entered her in the four-way ride off for high point, from which she emerged as the Individual Reserve High Point rider.
Sophomore Sarah Cohen and junior Cristiana Salvatori both won their respective Novice Flat classes, while junior Catherine Conway came second in both Intermediate Fences and Novice Flat, moving up to Intermediate Flat.
Sophomore Claire Bick came second in her first appearance at Intermediate Flat, and freshman Olivia Champ won a red ribbon in her Open Fences class.

On Sunday at the Endicott, freshman Erin McCarthy-Keeler won in Novice Fences to provide a strong score for the team, and senior Anna Knowles won in Novice Flat. Seewald and Champ both placed second in Open Fences, while Conway and junior Meaghan Haugh also earned second-place showings in Intermediate Fences and Intermediate Flat, respectively.
Freshman Sophie King and junior Charlotte Johnstone added to the team's collection of red ribbons with second places in Advanced Walk Trot Canter and in Walk Trot.
