HANOVER, N.H. – The day after being honored by the Ivy League for his performance against Harvard on Saturday, Dartmouth men's lacrosse senior Phil Hession was tabbed as the Epoch/Lacrosse Magazine Player of the Week.
In the Big Green's first conference game of the year, Hession went 20-for-24 at the X and scooped a team-best 15 ground balls in the 12-11 double-overtime victory, scoring two unassisted goals as well.
So far in 2015, the Canton, Massachusetts, native has netted three goals and tallied two assists for five points. He leads the team with 46 ground balls and is 60-for-100 in face-offs.
Dartmouth is 3-3 on the season after a 16-15 defeat of non-conference Vermont on Tuesday. Next up for the Green will be 1 p.m. road game on Saturday, March 28 against conference foe Cornell.
