Big Green Women Participate at 26th Mayor's Cup in Boston

BOSTON – The Dartmouth women's cross country team sent five individuals to the 26th Annual Mayor's Cup held at Franklin Park on Sunday.
The only collegiate team participating meant that Sunday was a non-scoring meet.
Meghan Grela was the top Big Green runner, claiming 25th overall as she ran the 6K race in 19:13.
Meg Tuthill was 35th in 19:43, while Angela Ortlieb crossed in 19:47 to take 38th. Allison Anderson was the fourth Dartmouth harrier to finish, doing so in 20:22 to take 53rd overall with Jennifer Cunningham rounding out the contingent with a 58th-place showing in 20:40.
The Big Green look to tackle the challenge of the Ivy League Heptagonal Championship Saturday morning at Princeton's West Windsor Fields with an 11 a.m. start.
