HANOVER, N.H. – No. 41 Dartmouth women's tennis won every single match against No. 58 Minnesota at the Boss Tennis Center on Saturday afternoon. The Big Green improved to 5-2 on the season, while the Gophers dipped to 6-3.
Dartmouth started off strongly and won all three doubles matches to enter singles with a one-point lead. Junior Taylor Ng and sophomore Kristina Mathis had a 6-2 victory over Paula Rincon-Otero and AnneMarie Emme at No. 1, while senior Katherine Yau and sophomore Julia Schroeder took down Caroline Ryba and Julia Courter, 6-3, at the No. 2 position.
Junior Jacqueline Crawford and senior Julienne Keong added one more at No. 3, defeating Jessika Mozia and Caitlyn Merzbacher, 6-4.
All of the singles matches were won in straight sets. After victories in the top five spots, freshman Allison Chuang completed the sweep with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Maja Vujic at No. 6 to end the day.
The Big Green return to Boss at 12 p.m. on Sunday to face UMass.
