ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The Dartmouth sailing team sent two teams to regattas this past weekend and secured two top-10 finishes. The Big Green finished third in the Jen Harris Women's Showcase hosted by Navy. They then placed ninth in the Danmark Trophy at Coast Guard.

Audrey Giblin, sophomore
Kathryn Hall, and freshmen
Aisling Sullivan and
Carlota Hopkins-Guerra placed third out of 17 teams with a total of 108 points. The Division A boat took six top-5 finishes, including two first-place finishes for 39 points. The Division B team finished first twice with five top-5 finishes. Wind was blowing 5-10 knots on Saturday and 3-5 knots on Sunday.

Cole Harris competed in the Danmark Trophy hosted by Coast Guard. Dartmouth finished ninth with 88 points but were only nine points from finishing in third-place in a competitive field. The B Division boat came away with two top-5 finishes out of five races for 42 points. The Division A boat had one top-5 finish for a total of 46 points.

Dartmouth is back in action next weekend for three scheduled events: the Hewitt Trophy hosted by the Big Green, the Stu Nelson Trophy at Colby College and a coed Showcase at MIT.
