Broom and Horneffer Ranked in ITA Preseason Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. – Juniors Charlie Broom and David Horneffer were ranked for both singles and doubles in the 2018 ITA Division I Men's Preseason National Rankings that were released this week.
In singles, Broom is 75th and Horneffer is 119th, while in doubles, the Big Green duo sits in 21st.
Dartmouth had a very successful season in 2017-18, winning its first-ever ECAC Indoor Championship title, capturing its first Ivy League title since 1997, and making it to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in the past three seasons.
Broom and Horneffer were named first team All-Ivy for both singles and doubles at the conclusion of the season, and Broom was named the ITA Northeast Player to Watch.
The Green opened the fall last weekend at Georgia's Southern Intercollegiate Championship and was highlighted by Horneffer and sophomore Casey Ross making to the Round of 16 for doubles. Next up will be the Ivy Plus Tournament at Princeton and Yale next weekend.
