Dartmouth travels to New York to take on Hofstra at the Hofstra Soccer Stadium. The Pride are a member of the Colonial Athletic Association.
LAST TIME OUT
- The Big Green took on New Hampshire in front of a packed Burnham Field and came away with a scoreless draw.
- Henry Stusnick got the starting nod in goal and the junior finished the night with five saves.
- Justin Donawa made his season debut after battling an injury and led the Big Green with three shots and one on goal.
- Dartmouth halted the Wildcats five game winning streak.
- The Big Green were outshot 21-14 by the Wildcats and 5-3 on goal. UNH had six corner kicks compared to four for Dartmouth.
SCOUTING HOFSTRA
- The Pride enter Tuesday's contest with a 2-3-2 record which places them fifth in the CAA.
- Hofstra is riding a two game winning streak with back-to-back shutouts over Harvard and Stony Brook. They tied Dayton in their season opener and finished with a scoreless draw against Seton Hall. The Prides losses are against Ohio State, No. 21 Colgate and Syracuse.
- Hofstra is tied for fourth in the CAA with 10 goals.
- Matthew Vowinkel leads the Pride with three goals, while Luke Brown has two and five other players each have one goal.
AGAINST THE PRIDE
- Dartmouth and Hofstra have played five times dating back to 1998 with the Big Green holding a 4-1-0 record
- Dartmouth defeated Hofstra 3-0 in each of the last two meetings in 2017 and 2015. The only loss to the Pride was a 1-0 score in 1999.
