THIS WEEKEND
The Big Green will host their annual Dartmouth Invitational this weekend, welcoming Boston College, Siena and Lafayette to Leede Arena for the six-match tournament.
Â
LAST TIMEOUT
Dartmouth kicked off the 2018 campaign at the Kristen Dickmann Invitational over the weekend, falling to Villanova (16-25, 16-25, 18-25), Navy (18-25, 25-22, 16-25, 25-27) and Alabama (17-25, 20-25, 17-25). Highlights:
- Francesca Meldrum was named all-tournament for her 26 kills, two assists, four digs and 11 total blocks
- She currently leads the team in kills, total blocks and points (33.0)
- Against Navy, both Nicole Liddle and Corinne Cox had their first collegiate double-doubles. Liddle had 12 kills and 11 digs, while Cox had 20 assists and 11 digs. Cox's 20 assists was more than she had all last season
- After three matches, Zoe Leonard is first among the Big Green with 33 digs

SCOUTING BC
The Eagles have had a strong start to their season, winning both their home invite and the Grand Canyon University Invitational to enter this weekend undefeated. After playing each other 10 times throughout the late 90s and early 2000s, Dartmouth and BC last met on Sept. 16, 2003, a match the Eagles won, 3-0.
Â
SCOUTING LAFAYETTE
The Leopards have a record of 2-4 after falling to Duquesne and Saint Peter's and then going 2-2 at the Crosstown Tournament. Dartmouth and Lafayette will be meeting for just the second time in program history, the last being in 2005, a match the Green narrowly won, 3-2.
Â
SCOUTING SIENA
The Saints have struggled a little at the beginning of 2018, dropping all of their matches at both the Baltimore Bash and the Cornell Invitational to enter the weekend 0-6. This will be the first time that Dartmouth and Siena have met.
