THIS WEEKEND
The Dartmouth field hockey team continues its road trip with an Ivy League game Saturday at Penn.
LAST TIME OUT
•   The Big Green dropped a pair of game last weekend in Providence.
•   The team lost 3-1 at Brown before falling, 5-1, at PC the next afternoon.
GOAL SCORERS IN RHODE ISLAND
•  Â
Tatum Schultz: Scored the team's lone goal at Brown, recording her second in as many games as she also notched a marker at home against UMass Lowell a week before.
•  Â
Holley Cromwell: A week after scoring her first career goal in the comeback against the River Hawks, Cromwell once again found the back of the cage in a non-conference game as she scored the only Big Green tally against the Friars on Sunday afternoon.
SCOUTING PENN
•   The Quakers are 3-6 overall this season and 1-1 in Ivy games.
•   A 6-2 loss at Harvard last weekend evened the team's conference mark after opening Ancient Eight play with a 5-2 home win against Cornell two weeks ago.
•   Madison Jiranek leads the way with 10 points on five goals, both team highs through nine games.
•   Gracyn Banks' three assists are the most on the roster in 2019 thus far.
•   In goal, Ava Rosati has played all 529 minutes in net and has a 2.95 goals against average to go along with a .612 save percentage.
AGAINST THE QUAKERS
•   Dartmouth has had a bit of a rough time against their Philadelphia counterparts in recent years.
•   Penn has won the last four meetings between the two since the 2015 season.
•   In three of those games (2015, '16 and '18), the Quakers have prevailed in a heart-breaking double-overtime contest, including last year's 3-2 game in Hanover.
INCHING CLOSER
•   Senior and team captain
Katie Spanos inched closer to moving up in Dartmouth's all-time scoring list with an assist at Brown.
•   Spanos now has 67 career points, she trails Lisa Masini '13 for seventh all-time. Masini finished her career with 70 points from 2009-12.
•   With one more goal, Spanos would also move into a tie with Holly Burks '81 and Kate Perle '88 for ninth at Dartmouth in goals scored with 26. Spanos currently has 25 for her career with four this season.
•   She will also move into the top-10 in assists at Dartmouth with two more.
A WIN WOULD…
•   …Be much better than a loss.
•   …Be the first of the season against an Ivy League foe.
•   …Be the first at Penn since Oct. 1, 2011 (4-2).
•   …Be the 364 in program history (363-347-33).
