NEW BRITIAN, Conn. – The Dartmouth men's cross country team claimed third at the Central Connecticut State Mini Meet Friday afternoon.

The Big Green posted 85 points on the 5K course at Stanley Quarter Park with
James Lawrence's 10th-place showing in 15:09 leading the way.

Lawrence led a tight pack of runners in the scoring the Green and White that included
Brendan Balthis (15:10) and
Thomas Lingard (15:11) in 11th and 12th, respectively.

Eric Gibson ran a 12:23 to take 21st, while
Isaac Weber claimed the last scoring spot for Dartmouth by crossing in 15:33 to take 31st.

The team now turns its attention to New York City and the 2019 Ivy League Heptagonal Championship next Friday at Van Cortlandt Park.
