TULSA, Okla. – Dartmouth men's tennis junior
Dan Martin went 1-1 in his qualifying matches at the ITA All-America Championship.

Martin's first qualifying match was against Luis Erlenbush of Tulane, who is currently ranked No. 61 in the country. The Big Green sophomore won his match, 6-1, 6-4.

Taking on South Carolina's Conor Thomson in his next qualifying match, Martin dropped two close sets, 6-4, 7-6 (10-8) to see his All-America journey come to an end.

"Dan is starting to put things together in his game and in his daily approach to training that puts him at a very high level of tennis," assistant coach
Jeff Wilson said. "To make it to a tournament like this is a significant achievement. He unfortunately didn't get what he wanted today, but it's easy to see that, with a few adjustments, he can take the next step towards that elite level of the NCAA."

Charlie Broom will play main draw singles and will pair up with classmate
David Horneffer for main draw doubles.
