SCOUTING THE TIGERS
Flashback to last weekend and three teams were tied for first in the Ivy League standings with one loss apiece. Cornell and Yale have since fallen, leaving Princeton alone at the top. Since that pesky loss to Cornell on Oct. 5, the Tigers have gone on a seven-match winning streak as they head into the final two weeks of the regular season. The second time around against the Big Red last weekend, it went to five sets, but it was Princeton that came out on top this time.
Â
LAST TIME AGAINST PRINCETON
On Oct. 19, Dartmouth got stronger as the sets went on, but could not solve Princeton, falling by a score of 3-0 (14-25, 17-25, 22-25) at Leede Arena.
Â
Makenzie Arent had 19 assists and seven digs, while
Francesca Meldrum led with 8.5 points, seven kills and two total blocks.
Â
SCOUTING THE QUAKERS
Penn has been winless since a 3-1 victory over Dartmouth a few weeks back. Since then, the Quakers have been defeated by Harvard, Princeton, Columbia and Cornell.
Â
LAST TIME AGAINST PENN
On Oct. 18, the Green fought to win the third set, but ultimately fell to the Quakers, 3-1 (21-25, 19-25, 25-23, 21-25).
Elise Petit and Arent both had double-doubles; Petit recorded 13 digs and 10 kills, while Arent had 22 assists and 10 digs.
