HARTFORD, Conn. – No. 11 Dartmouth squash went on the road for the first time at No. 2 Trinity and fell, 9-0. The Big Green fought hard in each match and had one taken to five and two more go to four games.
Claire Aube had the best performance of the night. The freshman forced Trinity's Lakeesha Rarere to five games. Aube looked to be in control after winning the first two games, 11-6 and 12-10. Rarere stormed back and won the next three all in extra points with the same score of 13-11.
Brynn Bank and
Sandra Reiss also had strong nights, each going four. Bank won her second game, 11-6, and battled in the next two but ended up falling. Reiss was also competitive throughout and took her second game, 11-9.
The Big Green continue their season on Saturday, Jan. 4 at 2 p.m. at No. 13 Williams.
