PRINCETON, N.J. – Dartmouth men's swimming and diving ended the Big Al Open on Sunday. The Big Green placed seventh with 239 points, finishing closely behind Johns Hopkins with 255.5.

Stas Van Genderen and
Ethan Banks swam the 1650 free, coming in 27th (16:25.26) and 28th (16:32.44), respectively. In the 200 back,
Joe Moll (1:50.02) and
Noah Hensley (1:50.50) swam in the C final, while
Andrew Vorobev competed in the D final (1:49.09).

John Hall placed 20th in the 100 free (45.36), while Max Jones swam the 200 breast and came in 31st place (2:07.52). In the 200 fly,
Connor LaMastra was second (1:44.01), dropping two seconds from prelims and earning an NCAA B cut.

To end the weekend, the Big Green tied for eighth in the 400 free relay (3:00.41). Made up of Hall,
Tim Cushman,
Landon Armstrong and LaMastra, the relay out-touched Penn State by four tenths of a second.

Dartmouth will kick off 2020 on January 4 at home against Bates.
