PRINCETON, N.J. – Dartmouth women's swimming and diving opened the 2019 Ivy League Championship on Wednesday evening, breaking school records in both relays.

In the 200-yard medley relay, the Big Green finished in seventh place (1:41.67), taking down the program record from 2013 by over a second. Made up of
Connie Zhang,
Mackenzie Stumpf,
Cathleen Li and
Zoe Wortzman, Dartmouth finished seven-tenths of a second ahead of Cornell.

The Green had a good showing in the 800-yard freestyle relay, touching in fourth (7:16.17) and breaking the school record by four full seconds. Composed of
Ashley Post,
Summer Martin,
Laura Barthold and
Mia Leko, the relay finished less than six-tenths of a second ahead of Brown in fifth place.

Throughout the first day of action, Dartmouth earned 92 points to go towards the team total.
