Francesca Meldrum Named Ivy League Player of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Dartmouth volleyball sophomore Francesca Meldrum was named the Ivy League Player of the Week on Monday.

The Big Green opened Ivy League play on the road against Harvard on Saturday, dropping the first two sets before executing a perfect comeback by taking the remaining three (21-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-19, 15-6).

Meldrum was on fire, ending up with a season-high and team-leading 14 kills, .571 hitting percentage and 17.5 points. She also recorded one ace, four total blocks and two digs.

The Green will play Brown and Yale on the road next weekend.
