BOSTON, Mass. — The Dartmouth women's cross country team finished in third place at the New England Championships at Franklin Park in Boston, Mass.
Boston College won the race with 32 points, followed by New Hampshire (99 points) and the Big Green with 125 points.
Freshman
Ellie Tymorek was the first runner to cross the finish line for Dartmouth, coming in eighth place with a time of 17:50.2. Freshman
Bella Pietrasiewicz finished in 17
th place with a time of 18:11.8.
Not too far behind Pietrasiewicz was sophomore
Emily Levonas in 22
nd place at 18:21.8. Rounding out the Big Green were sophomore
Natalie Shapiro (32
nd) at 18:37.9 and freshman
Emma Kerimo (46
th) with a time of 18:53.4.
Dartmouth is back in action again on Saturday, October 16 as they compete in the Suffolk Invitational and the Princeton Invitational.
