Isabella Chao of the Dartmouth women's cross country team was named to the Academic All-Ivy team, the Ivy League announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The Ivy League announced the Academic All-Ivy team in addition to the All-Ivy teams along with the major awards.
To qualify for a spot on the league's top academic team, the student-athlete must have made major contributions to their team while maintaining at least a 3.0 grade point average.
Chao finished 23rd in the season opening race for the Big Green while placing in 59th at the 2021 Ivy League Heptagonal Championship.
Chao and the women's cross country are preparing for the NCAA Northeast Regional in Boston, Massachusetts on Friday, November 12.
