Dartmouthsports.com will be recognizing the senior student-athletes who had their spring seasons canceled or severely shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today's Senior … Logan Adams, catcher on the baseball team.
DartmouthSports.com: What is your most memorable on-field team moment?
Logan Adams: Dustin Shirley's walk-off against Brown my freshman year.
Austen Michel threw incredible in relief and Shirley hit a walk-off home run in extra innings. The whole team was trying to swarm the plate but Coach Whalen was trying to hold us back until Shirley touched the plate.
DS.com: And your most memorable on-field individual moment?
LA: Playing Princeton my sophomore year. I had a tough start to the season going 0-for-12, but then started game 1 against Princeton going 4-6 with two home runs.
DS.com: Baseball players are known for nicknames. What is yours on the team and how did you get it?
LA: Logy. Pretty close to my name and didn't take much time for people to come up with.
DS.com: Any hidden talents that you could share?
LA: I would say I'm an above average spikeball player.
DS.com: If you could swap places with one teammate, who would it be and why?
LA: Max Hunter. Max started closing for us sophomore year and I think it would be awesome to experience closing out the game and securing the win for our team.
DS.com: What is your favorite place on campus?
LA: Red Rolfe Field at Biondi Park. I've spent an absurd amount of time on this field and am very sad that I've played my last game there.
DS.com: What are your plans after Dartmouth?
LA: I'm looking to stay around sports. Would love to go into baseball front office or sports marketing.

Favorite movie: Top Gun
Book: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Favorite actor: Tom Cruise
Sport other than baseball: Hockey
Professor: James Binkoski (almost changed my major to strictly philosophy because I liked his classes so much)
Favorite place: I said Red Rolfe for my previous answer, but other than that I'd say lower level Berry. Spent a lot of time studying there with teammates. "Studying" was often times talking with teammates for two hours and finishing 30 minutes of work but it was always nice being around guys on the team while doing homework.
