HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth volleyball was chosen to finish fifth in the Ivy League's preseason poll, as announced by the conference office on Friday.

At the top with 10 first-place votes was Yale, which have been Ivy League champion or co-champion nine out of the last 12 seasons. Receiving the remaining six votes and chosen second was Princeton, which have claimed the Ivy title for of the last five seasons.

The last preseason poll that was released almost two years ago to the day saw Dartmouth picked to finish fifth. The Big Green did, in fact, come in fifth place, ending the 2019 season with an overall record of 10-15 and a conference mark of 4-8.

Alesha Wilson in her first season.

Dartmouth kicks off the 2021 season a week from today at the Lehigh Steel Tournament, facing the host, Binghamton and St. Francis Brooklyn over the course of two days.
